Domestic violence doesn't end when a woman escapes. The journey to freedom is only the beginning. Most survivors leave their abusers with nothing — no money, no belongings, no safety net.
What should be a sanctuary often feels cold, transactional, or even degrading. Women who have already been stripped of their worth are met with environments that inadvertently reinforce the same message their abusers spent years programming.
